Sonoma County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two men for stabbing an employee at a Santa Rosa tattoo parlor last night. At about 5:30 PM a person from the Twisted Image Tattoo parlor, 3450 Santa Rosa Avenue, called 911 to report a stabbing. Deputies responded and when they arrived, they found a 28 year old man with several stab wounds to his chest. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for immediate surgery. His current condition is stable.
While deputies were responding to the scene, another deputy spotted a white Jeep which matched the description that the caller to 911 had given. The suspect’s vehicle was heading away from the scene of the stabbing and was stopped by deputies at Yolanda Ave at the NB 101 onramp. Three men were detained from the car without incident.
All three of the people from the car were identified by witnesses as having been present. Ultimately Baldomero Anguiano-Vazquez, 33 of Cloverdale was arrested for attempted murder and conspiracy. Also arrested with Baldomero was his 22-year-old brother, Jesus Anguiano-Vazquez from Santa Rosa, for conspiracy to commit murder. The third person from the suspect’s car was released after he was interviewed by detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Investigations Unit.
It was determined the stabbing occurred after an argument that started inside the tattoo parlor between the victim who is an employee of the parlor, and the suspects who were customers. The argument began as the suspects were allegedly verbally disrespecting a woman in the parlor and the employee intervened, at which point Baldomero Anguiano-Vazquez pulled a straight blade knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.
