SAPD Detectives are investigating a homicide at the 300 block of east 17th Street. 
On Monday, July 11, 2022, at 3:23 a.m., Officers responded to a shooting that had just occurred within the parking lot of 300 E. 17th Street. Upon arrival, a lone male victim was discovered lying in the parking lot with a fatal gunshot wound to his upper torso.
The circumstances surrounding this homicide are currently being investigated.
Detectives are attempting to identify and locate any witnesses who can shed light on this incident.
