On February 14, 2022, at approximately 2:45 pm, the Middle Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a Middle Township School Bus and a Tractor Trailer at the intersection of County Road 657 (Court House- South Dennis Road) and County Road 646 (Goshen-Swainton Road).  The investigation revealed the school bus made an illegal U-turn at the intersection, and was struck by a Tractor Trailer that had been traveling north on CR657. There were ten students on the bus at the time of the crash.  The bus driver, truck driver and three students all reported minor injuries.  The driver of the bus was issued a motor vehicle summons.   Assisting with the scene, were Middle Township Ambulance Corp., Inspira Emergency Medical Services, Goshen Fire Department, Court House Fire Department and Cape May County Sheriff’s Office.
