Masked suspects commit armed robbery in Rio Grande 
On Friday, December 10, 2021, at approximately 5:30 am, the Middle Township Police Department responded to the 200 block of Vermont Avenue in the Rio Grande section for a reported Armed Robbery. The four (4) victims stated two (2) masked subjects with handguns entered their home and stole money. One of the victim’s was able to flee the home and contact 9-1-1. Upon police arrival, the subjects had left the area. One victim received a laceration to his head when a door was forcibly opened. At this time, there is no description of the subjects, due to them having worn ski masks. It does not appear this was a random act and the victims were possibly targeted.
