Sheriff's Office, Coast Guard and Beaufort MRO searching for missing person off Daufuskie Island 
At approximately 7:50 this morning, near Melrose Landing Road on Daufuskie Island, witnesses reported that they observed an adult male jump into the water from a dock and not surface.
The Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol Unit, Coast Guard and Beaufort MRO are searching the waters off Daufuskie Island by boat and air.
The missing person — believed to be 51-year-old Craig Lamonte Jones — has yet to be located.
According to witnesses, Jones was wearing a blue shirt and shorts when he entered the water. He is African-American, 6'01" tall and approximately 200 pounds. Jones is bald and may have a goatee.
