Full Notification

   On October 3^rd, 2020 at approximately 11:36pm members of the Middle Township Police Department‘s Patrol Division responded to the intersection of Rt. 47 and 5^th Street in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township for a reported pedestrian motor vehicle crash.  A preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian, identified as Frederick Dunn 39 years of age from Wildwood, NJ, was crossing Rt. 47 against the traffic light and outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Kristen Arcos, 33 years of age from Hamilton, NJ.  Mr. Dunn was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Members of the Middle Township Police Department’s Crash Team and Major Crime Unit assisted in the investigation, which is on-going at this time.
