At today's, July 31,2020, Hurricane Isaias press conference, Governor Henry McMaster, state emergency management officials and weather experts reiterated the need to be prepared ahead of this and other hurricanes that threaten South Carolina. At the press conference, the Governor did NOT order an evacuation of coastal counties, which includes Beaufort County. In addition, the Governor spoke on following official government and other validated sources for information on hurricanes to avoid misinformation.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management Division will continue to monitor and inform Beaufort County residents on Hurricane Isaias and its potential impacts on our area through its Nixle advisory system and social media sites:
