Pomona Police Officers Rush In To Save Elderly Women From House Fire

NARRATIVE:
On Saturday, June 13, 2020 at approximately 12:50 PM, the Pomona Police Department and the LA County Fire Department received multi calls of a house fire in the area of the 300 Block of Paloma Dr. in the City of Pomona.  Officers arrived on scene and observed the kitchen area of the residence fully engulfed.  Everyone from inside the residence were able to get out, but an elderly bedridden female.  Officer F. Salgado and Officer J. Gomez were able to rush inside and carry the elderly female to safety.  LA County Fire Department was able to contain the fire to the kitchen and backyard area.  LA County Fire Department will be notifying Red Cross for the displaced family.
