At 4:30 p.m. today (Thursday, March 19, 2020), Governor Henry McMaster is holding a press conference on coronavirus (COVID-19). We encourage Beaufort County residents and guests to watch. You can watch it through these links:

Governor Henry McMaster ordered restaurants and bars to close dine-in service (both inside and outside dining) starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, but advised that takeout, curbside and delivery services are permissible for restaurants.
Also in his executive order, Governor McMaster’s prohibits organized events of 50 or more in any publicly-owned (state, county and municipal) place.
We appreciate your compliance with the executive order, as failure to comply is illegal. The Governor’s executive order remains in effect through March 31, 2020.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) published a communication to the retail food service industry outlining its responsibilities under the Governor's executive order. We encourage restaurant owners, managers and employees to read DHEC's communication through the link below:
