AVOID the area of Chase Street and Cherry Street 
Novato Police and Novato Fire advise you to please avoid the area of Chase and Cherry Street due to a house fire. Chase Street is closed down to one lane and Cherry Street is closed completely to through traffic. Roads are expected to be closed until approximately 12:00pm 12/05/2019. Please be advised of delays and congestion in the area and if possible find alternate routes for travel. Novato Police will update when roadways are reopened.
