Last night, the Sheriff's Office received a report from a complainant that he/she was concerned there may be a shooting at the Heritage Days Celebration, St. Helena Island, on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Investigators are looking into the report, but, at this point, have not been able to substantiate any threat.

For those who plan on attending the Heritage Days Celebration, the Sheriff's Office assures you that we will have an increased presence throughout the event for your safety. Please remember, "If You See Something, Say Something" and immediately report suspicious activity to Sheriff's Office Dispatch 9-1-1.
