Full Notification

At approximately 10:27 AM, the Sheboygan Police Department responded to an injury accident involving a City of Sheboygan Garbage Truck and a child on a bicycle.  The child has died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.  The Wisconsin State Patrol has been contacted to conduct the investigation.  The investigation is ongoing. We are not releasing any additional information or the name of the victim pending notification of the family.  Police are requesting that drivers avoid the area; the intersection is expected to be closed for several hours due to the investigation.
