Public Assistance Needed:
On 09/20/19 at approximately 0300 hours, the Lakeport Police Department responded to a report of an in-progress vehicle theft in the area of 15th and Hartley Street. Upon the officer’s arrival, the officer saw that the vehicle had been abandoned on scene. Thereafter, the police department received numerous reports of vehicles that had also been vandalized and/or tampered with or having items stolen out of them in the surrounding area. During the investigation, officers were able to obtain surveillance footage that showed two male subjects responsible for the acts. We attached the surveillance video links below, along with a photo of graffiti/tagging done to one of the vehicles and are requesting your assistance in helping identify the subjects involved. The total loss to victims is estimated at over $1500.00.
