Delivery Driver Arrested for Residential Burglary

Today at 12:45pm, an alert resident informed dispatchers of a notification from their home surveillance system alerting to motion inside their home. A male subject, unknown to the resident, was seen inside. The resident was able to provide dispatchers with a description of the male subject and of a vehicle in the driveway.
Novato Police Officers arrived on scene while the suspect was still in the area and contacted the individual. The man identified himself as Maurice Kimball, a 27-year-old resident of Brentwood, CA and said he was a delivery driver. After a thorough investigation, Kimball was arrested by Novato Police officers for felony residential burglary. Kimball was booked into Marin County Jail. Over $10,000 worth of items were stolen during the burglary and have since been recovered.
