Investigators Charge Third Man In 2018 Murder. 
Homicide investigators have filed felony charges against a man accused of luring another man to an apartment where he was robbed and killed in 2018.
On Thursday, May 31, 2018 at approximately 5 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a possible shooting call at 7302 Alabonson Road, the Inwood Groves Apartments.
Upon arrival deputies found a man with apparent gunshot wounds inside the complex.
Investigators say that Christopher Joseph Phillips (08/01/89) lured the victim, Matthew Franklin, 33, to the apartment complex under guise of selling car parts to him.
Phillips had two other men -- Justin Parker, 29, and Bryant Dupree, 28 -- approach Franklin and attempt to rob him. At some point during the robbery, they shot Franklin multiple times.
Homicide investigators later filed capital murder charges against Parker and Dupree.
Phillips is now charged with aggravated robbery with serious bodily injury.
He is being held without bond in the Harris County Jail.
