During this Sunday's Hilton Head Island St. Patrick Day Parade, the southbound lanes of Pope Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The two northbound lanes will be used for vehicular traffic during those hours—one lane will be used for vehicular traffic traveling south and the other lane will be used for vehicular traffic traveling north.

Organizers of the Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade expect many thousands will attend. During the hours of the parade, we would ask our residents and guests to please avoid driving on Pope Avenue for the safety of the spectators.
