UPDATE: N Highway 89 between Jackson and the Park Boundary is now OPEN. WYDOT thanks the public for their patience.

UPDATE 2/26/19 3:40pm - WYDOT has advised that N Highway 89 avalanche mitigation work north of the Town of Jackson (near Dairy Queen) has been completed and the highway is now open between Jackson and the south boundary of Grand Teton National Park. WYDOT thanks the public for their patience.

WYDOT has issued a No Unnecessary Travel advisory for all US and Federal Highways in Teton County, with the exception of Moran to Dubois.
These highways include: Hwy 390, Hoback Canyon, Snake River Canyon, 89-Jackson to Moose, Hwy 22-Jacskon to Wilson.
There are reports of blowing snow with reduced visibility and multiple vehicle slide-offs around Teton County.
Road Closures include:
**Planned closure N. Hwy89, just immediately north of Jackson from milepost 156-166 for avalanche control (north of Dairy Queen) at 1:30pm on 2/26
--WY22 Teton Pass – estimated open 4p-6p on 2/26/19
--N. Hwy 89 Moose to Moran – No plan to open today. Road is covered with 4-6ft of snow and continues to drift with limited visibility.
--Antelope Flats Rd – From the Town of Kelly northward is closed. Please adhere to No Unnecessary Travel from Hwy 89/ Gros Ventre junction to Kelly. Numerous vehicles continue to get stuck and get in the way of the plows and rotaries.
General Updates:
As of now there is no planned closure to Snake River Canyon that we know of. The canyon can close at any time due to natural avalanches, but there are no planned closures that we have been advised of from WYDOT.

Several avalanches have been reported in Jackson around E Gros Ventre Butte and Saddle Butte, so please pay attention and avoid any hazardous areas. Avalanche Warning remains in effect through at least tomorrow 2/27 morning for the majority of the mountains and valleys of Teton County.
