Details: On January 26, 2019, at approximately 11:15 PM, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 800 block of Claire Avenue. Upon arrival Officers located a female victim who had been shot once in the upper thigh. The female was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia and treated for her wound.

Officer’s then learned the Kings County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on 12th Avenue just outside of Hanford and during the traffic stop the deputies discovered a second gunshot victim who was being transported to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford. The second victim was a male adult and was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. He was treated at the hospital for his wounds.
