Investigators Need Subject Identified

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit need the public’s help in identifying a male subject who assaulted a man in an apparent road rage in east Harris County.

On Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 6:00 pm., a 68-year-old man was driving a 2017 Volvo 600 semi-truck and was attempting to exit the Love’s Truck Stop parking area on to the westbound frontage road.

A Hispanic male subject driving a late model black colored Cadillac Escalade became irate after he was not able to pass as the large truck and trailer were exiting.

The driver stated the male subject in the Escalade blew his horn numerous times and continued to follow the truck after entering the roadway.

The subject then stopped his vehicle in front of the rig.

He walked back to the truck and began yelling at the driver.

The driver exited the truck and the male began striking him and knocking him to the ground.

The man was transported to a local hospital.

The male sustained numerous cuts and bruises due to being struck by the male.

The male subject is described as a Hispanic, 20 to 25-years of age. He is 5’8-to 5’9 in height and a stocky build.
He has dark brown hair and brown colored eyes.

The Cadillac Escalade has a Houston Astros's and a Houston Texans sticker on the upper passenger side tailgate glass.
