Man Arrested in SLA Inspection
Suffolk County Police last night arrested a man after conducting a State Liquor Authority (SLA) inspection in the town of Babylon.
Due to numerous community complaints, the First Precinct Crime Section conducted an investigation into the sale of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes at Milk N Things, 1287 Deer Park Avenue, North Babylon.
Ashish A. Brahmbhatt, an employee of Milk N Things, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (concentrated cannabis), Endangering The Welfare of a Child, Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st Degree, ABC Law-Sale to Person Under 21, Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 2nd Degree, three counts of Sale of Tobacco Products to Person Less than 21, and ABC Law-Disorderly Premise, a misdemeanor.
Brahmbhatt, 30, of North Babylon is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court on January 8, 2019.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
