Full Notification

On Wednesday, August 8th 2018 at approximately 5:55 pm the Middle Township Police Department received call from a Juvenile subject (Age 16) who reported that while walking on 2^nd Street in Rio Grande, NJ at approximately 5:30pm, a male subject grabbed him by the shirt and neck. The JV was able to fight the man off by punching him in the face. The male subject then entered his car and left the area. The vehicle was described as a dark blue Honda Civic. The area was searched and neighboring jurisdictions were notified of the incident and also searched their areas.
 
During the investigation, the JV was interviewed and indicated that the subject never attempted to get him into the vehicle nor did he attempt to take anything from him.
 
The victim only stated, that he heard foot steps behind him. Then the subject grabbed his shirt. When the he turned around he punched the subject in the face. The subject ran to his car and left the scene.
 
The subject is reported to be a white male, apprx 5’10” tall, apprx 200lbs, in his late 40’s, with a 5 o’clock shadow
