Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole trees and bushes from a garden in East Moriches last month.

A man pushed down a fence to Holly’s Garden Center, located at 234 Montauk Highway and proceeded to steal two ornamental, spiral shaped evergreen trees and two smaller bushes during the early morning hours of July 8.

The suspect was wearing shorts, a “beanie” type hat and running sneakers. He was operating a dark colored SUV, possibly a Honda CRV model year 2007-2011.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
