Details: On Saturday, March 31, 2018 Corcoran Police Officers responded to a call of shots fired at a house in the 800 block of Hall Avenue, in the City of Corcoran. During the investigation Officers received information that Rudy Medellin was involved. On April 17, 2018 Officers with the Corcoran Police Department served three search warrants at three different locations throughout the City of Corcoran. At the time of the search warrants, Rudy was arrested without incident. While serving the search warrants a firearm was recovered at one of the locations. Rudy claimed the firearm was his during his interview. Rudy was arrested for the charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, attempted murder and participation in a criminal street gang.
