Arrested: Marilyn Fajardo (36) Garden Grove – Booking Charge, Arson
On 2-7-2018 at approximately 8:55pm, Officers were dispatched to the area of 1st Street and Standard for a subject setting a fire. When officers arrived they were directed to suspect Fajardo by witnesses. The witnesses observed the suspect lighting trees on fire which spread to storage containers and a Southern California Edison pole at a construction site. The Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Southern California Edison responded to the scene and restored power to the area. Based on the evidence at the crime scene, and statements made by suspect Fajardo, she was booked into the SAPD Jail for Arson.
