NORTH AURORA, IL—The North Aurora Police Department is releasing store surveillance video from the armed robbery in the 0-100 blk. of S. Lincolnway which occurred on Tuesday, June 6th  Investigators are seeking information concerning the suspect’s whereabouts.

On June 6, 2017 at 5:32 p.m., patrol officers of the North Aurora Police Department were dispatched to a store in the 0-100 blk of S. Lincolnway, for an armed robbery.
 
Upon arrival, officers learned that a Hispanic male entered the store and, after walking around the store for a few minutes, approached the clerk, had a short conversation, and then left the store.  He returned less than a minute later, displayed a gun, and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running east toward the Fox River.
 
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male with a full beard, wearing a white or gray hooded sweatshirt with “Nike” in large letters across the chest, a white Chicago Blackhawks hat, dark sunglasses, dark jeans and a glove on his right hand.  He also appears to have a tattoo or writing on his left hand/wrist area.
 
The weapon was described as a black semi-automatic pistol with a plastic bag over the barrel.
 
If you see the suspect, please call 911.  Do not approach or attempt to apprehend him.  He should be considered armed and dangerous.  If you have information about his whereabouts, such as where the suspect lives, places he frequents, and/or people he associates with, please call the Investigations Division at (630) 897-8705, ext 610.

This case remains under investigation by the North Aurora Police Department.
