Full Notification

On June 4^th, 2017 at approximately 10:12 AM, the Middle Township Police Department received a call of an unresponsive 13 year old boy in the Rio Grande section of the Township.  Upon arrival officers found the boy unresponsive in his bed.  Atlanticare Medics arrived on scene at which time the boy was pronounced dead.  The preliminary investigation reveals the boy died sometime during the night.  The cause of death is unknown at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.  The Middle Township Police Major Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating.  More information will be released at a later date.
