On Friday, April 7, 2017, the Middle Township Police Department's Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the Dutchman's Motel, room # 10, located at 1077 Route 47 South in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township with the assistance of the Cape May County SWAT Team and Cape May County Prosecutor's Office.  As a result of the search warrant, Alicia Hernandez, age 26,  was arrested and sixty (60) bags of suspected heroin and prescription medication (Percocet) were recovered.  Hernandez was charged with Possession of Heroin, 3^rd Degree, Possession of Prescription Medication (Percocet), 3^rd Degree, Possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute, 3^rd Degree, and Child Endangerment, 2^nd Degree.  Hernandez also had an outstanding traffic warrant and was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
