On Thursday, March 30, 2017, Members of the Middle Township Police Department's Street Crimes Unit with the assistance of the Major Crimes Unit and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office arrested Kyra Mathis, age 26, of Marmora for prostitution.  Mathis is currently staying at the Shelton Motel in Rio Grande where she met with an officer who acted as the Undercover "John".  Mathis agreed to engage in both oral and vaginal sex with the Undercover for $50.00.  Mathis was transported to Middle Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being charged with Prostitution, a Disorderly Persons offense.
