HCSO Robbery Unit Arrest Man For Aggravated Robberies In West Harris County.

(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery investigators have arrested 33-year-old Randall Starry for two aggravated robberies in West Harris County.

Randall Starry entered the Lifeway Christian book store in the 20200 block of the Katy freeway at around 9:30 pm on Monday, March 13, 2017.

He walked around the store looking at different merchandise and talking with employees about books and inspirational pamphlets.

He then approached the counter and demanded the money from the drawer.

Starry then told the employee that he had a gun, but did not pull the weapon from under his shirt.

He took the money and fled from the store in an unknown direction.

A separate call for service was received at the business plaza around 30 minutes before the bookstore robbery at the Thai Massage.

Starry walked into the business and asked about prices for the massage therapy.

The female employee told Starry they only accepted cash payment.

He told the employee he would return with cash and exited the store.

Starry then returned to the store within about 5 minutes.

He then pulled a large knife from the back of his shirt and put it to the neck of the female complainant.

Starry demanded the money from the cash drawer, but the female could not open the register.

He then fled from the business in an unknown direction.
