Dearborn, Dearborn Heights continue emergency shelters for residents without power.

DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn, in conjunction with Dearborn Heights and the Red Cross, is continuing the operation of two warming & overnight emergency shelters. The shelters are currently open for residents in the two communities who are without power due to the windstorm. Residents are welcome to respond to the locations.
The shelters are in Dearborn. They are at McCollough-Unis School, 7801 Maple Street, and Stout Middle School, 18500 Oakwood Boulevard.
The shelters will have cots for sleeping and basic blankets and pillows. People are welcome to bring their own blankets and pillows. Volunteers will assist at the shelter operations. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No weapons or pets (except service animals) are allowed.
The shelters will be OPEN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
