Full Notification

On 02/21/2017 at approximately 12:30 PM, the Middle Township Police Department responded to the Dollar General, located at 6 Indian Trail Road, in the Burleigh section of Middle Township, for a reported fight. Corporal Ronald Miller responded to the scene and found a 38 year old male Middle Township resident and Edward Lunn, age 35, of the Burleigh section of Middle Township, were involved in the fight. Through further investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Lunn attacked the victim while they were inside the Dollar General. The attack then continued outside of the store where Mr. Lunn cut the victim with a knife.
 
Mr. Lunn was charged with Aggravated Assault, 3rd degree, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, 3^rd Degree, and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, 4^th Degree.   Mr. Lunn was processed and released on a summons.  The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was released from the Cape Regional Medical Center after being treated for his injuries.
