HCSO Child Abuse Unit Investigation Leads To Conviction. 
(Harris County, TX) A 42 year old Harris County man was found guilty of Super Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child on Friday, January 27, 2017.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit investigators say that Keith Jefferson McMinn date of birth (09/24/1964) was continuingly sexually abusing a female family member over a several month period.
A jury in 185th court sentenced him to 30 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
The investigation began when the female child made an outcry to a family member.
Investigators were able to obtain evidence and an indictment was returned on McMinn.
He is currently incarcerated in the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Detention facility awaiting transfer to TDCJ to begin his sentence.
