TRAFFIC ADVISORY: The First Precinct is advising motorists of road closures and expected traffic congestion throughout the Township of Babylon as multiple towns will be holding holiday events this weekend.

Amityville Tree Lighting: Sat. Dec. 3rd 4 pm -8:30pm: Event will be held in the parking lot of Marks of Excellence Child Care, 455 Albany Ave. Albany Ave. will be closed off between Great Neck Road and Floral Dr. / Pendale Dr. for this event.
Copiague: Saturday, Dec. 3rd 11 am – 12 pm: The Knights of Columbus in Copiague will be holding their Annual Parade. The parade will begin at the Chase Bank parking lot @ 930 Montauk Highway, Copiague leaving the intersection of Great Neck Rd., &
Montauk Highway, traveling north to Molloy St., left on Molloy to Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Deer Park: Saturday, Dec. 3rd – 6 pm – 9 pm: The Deer Park Fire Department will be holding their Annual Holiday Parade. The
Parade will begin at the Deer Park High School parking lot, traveling to Falcon Place to North 1st St., to Nichols Rd. to Deer Park Ave. & Lake Ave. Ending at The Deer Park Fire Department Headquarters. RAINDATE: Sun. 12/4 – 6-9pm.
West Babylon: Saturday, Dec. 3rd – 5 pm : West Babylon Fire Department will be holding their Annual Christmas Party
and Tree Lighting Parade. The parade will begin at Little East Neck Rd. & 3rd St. proceed north on Little East Neck Rd. to 11th
Street, ending there.
Babylon Village: Sunday Dec. 4th : 4 pm- 7 pm: Babylon Village will be holding their Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at
Argyle Lake Park.
Lindenhurst Village: Sunday, Dec. 4th
1 pm – 3pm: Santa in the Park, at Lindenhurst Village Square Park, corner of Hoffman Ave. and Wellwood Ave.
2:30 pm-4pm: Skating Party around the tree ( Hoffman Ave., & So. Wellwood Ave.)
4 pm- 5 pm: Lindenhurst Fire Department will be holding their Annual Holiday Parade
along with the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. The parade will begin around sundown from the Firemen’s Memorial Park, heading west on Hartford St., south on North Wellwood Ave. to the Monument Plaza at South Wellwood Ave. and Hoffman Ave., where the ceremony will take place.
