Teton County, the Town of Jackson, and the Teton Conservation District are pleased to announce the public comment period for the 2015 Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan update. This plan outlines the various hazards that could affect Teton County, their probability, and their impacts. The plan also describes potential projects that can be undertaken to help mitigate the risk of these disasters. Visit www.tetonwyo.org/em to download a copy of the draft plan, or you can visit one of the following locations during normal business hours to review a hard copy of the plan:

The public comment period is from Friday, August 14th through Friday, September 18th, 2015. Following incorporation of applicable public comments, the plan will be presented to the Teton County Commissioners, Jackson Town Council, and the Teton Conservation District Board for final approval. The public may submit draft plan comments, questions, or concerns to either:
