The City of Berkeley welcomes all Neighborhood Watch Groups, local businesses, faith based organizations, and community groups to organize and join us in a festive and positive night.  Let’s celebrate community, safety, disaster preparedness, and the fight against crime along with members from the Berkeley Police Department, Fire Department, and City of Berkeley Staff on Tuesday, August 5^th.  Help us celebrate 31 years of National Night Out.

National Night Out, a yearlong community building campaign, is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs, and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

National Night Out now involves over 37.8 million people and 16,124 communities from all fifty states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide.

If you are planning on participating in the 31^st anniversary of National Night Out this year, registration will begin July 2^nd.
