HCSO Arrest Two In Pawn Shop Robbery.

Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Division have arrested and charged two men with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, and are seeking information on five other suspects, in the robbery of a pawn shop in north Harris County.

Robbery investigators say that Leonard Patrick (DOB 08/11/92) and Delmond Broussard (DOB 11/05/93), and at least five other masked suspects, entered the Top Dollar Pawn located at 3500 block of Little York at around 2:00 pm, yesterday, March 31, 2014.

The suspects, some armed with handguns and rifles, entered the store ordering customers and employees to lie on the floor. The suspects then smashed the glass display cases containing watches, rings and bracelets.

Two other suspects led the manager at gunpoint to the store safe where he was ordered to open it and empty the contents.

Customers were also robbed at gunpoint of their wallets and cash. No injuries were reported to customers or staff of the business.

The suspects then fled in two different vehicles, a black Dodge Charger and a silver colored Dodge 300 sedan.

Responding deputies spotted the black Charger occupied by Patrick and Broussard and a third unidentified male fleeing south along Imperial Valley and Benmar Road.

HCSO patrol units along with supporting units from the Houston Police Department followed the vehicle until it crashed at Benmar Road and City View Place Street.

The suspects fled into a wooded field alongside of an apartment complex.

Deputies immediately took Patrick and Broussard into custody, but the other male fled into the woods.

An extensive search was conducted by HCSO K9 along with HPD K9 but the suspect managed to escape.

The other suspects that fled in Dodge 300 also got away.

They are only described as black males, wearing grey and black colored hoodies with white t shirts and blue jeans.

Deputies recovered several weapons from the vehicle that crashed, including handguns and an assault rifle, along with the stolen jewelry and cash.

The mug shot of Patrick and Broussard are attached in order.

Anyone with information about the suspects’ identity in this case and/or location is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS or to submit a tip via the iWatchHarrisCounty phone app.
