HARRIS COUNTY, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office iWatchHarrisCounty smartphone application celebrates another victory in the war on crime in Harris County.

Pursuant to a tip submitted by anonymous users of the iWatchHarrisCounty app, investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) major drug squad executed a search warrant at an undisclosed location in the unincorporated area of Harris County, Texas. There, 392 marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $1.4 million, and 66 pounds of harvested marijuana with a value estimated at $231,000, were seized.

At least one arrest has been made in the ongoing criminal investigation. A photo taken during the search is attached.

Over 70 tips submitted by iWatchHarrisCounty users have been cleared by arrest by HCSO investigators.
