On Friday, 10/11/13, Petra Perez Jimenez - sixty-eight year old female (Santa Ana ) was struck by a vehicle while pushing a shopping cart through the intersection of Grant Street and Standard Avenue. The female was transported to Western Medical Center for treatment. The motorist who was driving a Toyota Camry northbound Standard, subsequently struck the pedestrian at the intersection of Grant Street remained at the scene. Today 10/15/13 The Coroner’s Office contacted the Santa Ana Police Department and advised that the pedestrian Petra Perez Jimenez died from her injuries.
