(HOUSTON, TX) – HCSO investigators are releasing video from a security camera hoping the public can help identify a robbery suspect.

It happened on Friday, August 23, 2013 in the parking lot of a Walgreens located at 12097 Veterans Memorial in northwest Harris County.

The suspect is seen in the video wearing a green baseball cap and t-shirt and yellow shorts. He’s seen fleeing in a red Chevrolet Camaro with a white panel on the front driver’s side.

According to the store manager, the suspect was in the store trying to exchange an item he claimed to have purchased previously but didn’t have a receipt for. As the store manager steps away to verify if the item had indeed been purchased by the suspect earlier, he sees the suspect walk outside, approach the male victim in the parking lot and push him to the ground between two cars.

The suspect pinned the victim to the ground, beat him, and robbed him. The victim had just been inside the store withdrawing money from an ATM.

The suspect is then seen running and getting into a red Camaro.
