Members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitives Task Force arrested a man today for the April 2013 murder of his girlfriend in northwest Harris County.
Jason D. Finley, 39, has been charged for the murder of his girlfriend, Darlishia Watson.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at approximately 3:30 p.m., a teenage girl returned home to the 13900 block of Chuckwood after attending school. She entered her home only to find her mother, Darlishia Watson, dead inside their home.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the residence and first believed Ms. Watson was shot. However, their investigation revealed that she had been stabbed to death. The motive is unknown at this time.
