Sheriff's deputies captured two bank robbery suspects and two off-duty Houston Police Department officers working providing security at the bank shot and killed another suspect around 2 p.m. today. The location was Regents Bank at 7044 East FM 1960.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene in response to a bank alarm. They apprehended the suspects in a nearby parking lot.

The Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit will investigate the shooting aspect and the robbery will be investigated by the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force.

Any further information that becomes available to this agency will be released by personnel at the scene.
