Suspect arrested in attempted armed robbery at Los Hermanos in Burton 
On July 10, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an attempted armed robbery at Los Hermanos, located at 659 Robert Smalls Parkway in Burton.
A male suspect entered the store, pointed a firearm at the cashier, and demanded money. He then left the area on a bicycle without taking any money from the store.
Deputies reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect as Kenneth Mikel Fields, Jr., 31, of Burton. Fields was located and confessed to the attempted robbery. He was arrested without incident for attempted armed robbery.
