Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or persons who spray painted threats to police and their families in Westhampton in January.

The incident was reported at approximately 9 a.m. on January 27, and the crime was likely committed within the prior day. “COPS WILL B SHOT”, “WHBPD=DEATH”, and “POOR>RICH” was found written in black spray paint on the sidewalk along South Road near Beaver Dam Creek. “COPS WIVES GET SHOT 2” and “SHOOT COPS 4 FUN” was written on the center yellow lines of Baycrest Avenue near Bishop Avenue.
