Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a head-on motor vehicle crash that critically injured a man in Manorville last night.
 
Juan Carlos Osorio Tejada was driving a 2016 BMW southbound on Moriches-Middle Island Road, just north of Sunrise Highway, when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into a 2021 Honda Civic at approximately 10:15 p.m.
 
The driver of the Civic, Jonathan Starrantino, 19, of Shirley, was air-lifted by Suffolk County Police Helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition. Osario Tejada, 34, of Rocky Point, was transported via ambulance to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
