INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On December 9, 2019 at about 12:21 AM, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Temple Ave and the SR57 Freeway (off ramp). When Emergency Personnel arrived on scene, they located a male adult down in lanes of traffic. He was severely injured and pronounced deceased at the scene by LA County Fire personnel. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. He was not intoxicated and was released pending further investigation into the cause of the collision.
