Officers are currently investigating a shooting that occurred today in the area of Stevenson Blvd. and Farwell Drive.
At 3:48 p.m., a witness called 911 and reported hearing shots fired as a subject in a dark colored sedan waived a gun out the window at subjects in a second vehicle. We immediately responded and learned the two vehicles left in the direction of I-880 and headed northbound.
We have no information as to what led to this shooting and no confirmed reports of injuries. This remains a very active investigation and no further details are available at this time.
