#05 & # 06 Auto burglary 4100 block of Cushing Parkway, unknown suspect(s) broke into two parked vehicles. Personal items and electronics were stolen.

Incident #19066658 Officer Degenstein conducted a vehicle stop near Blacow Rd. /Grimmer Blvd. he contacted and arrested a 24 year old male with an active felony warrant for 10851VC (stolen vehicle)

#007 Robbery - A  black male adult snatched a laptop from a customer inside Starbucks on Automall Pkwy.

#010 Officer Olvera arrested a 53 year old male for being under the influence of a controlled substance after responding to a call of a male in the roadway with his pants unzipped.

#019 Petty Theft Officers were dispatched to Target Hub on the report of two subjects actively stealing game controllers. The s suspects were associated to a vehicle parked in the lot occupied by two additional people. The two suspects eventually exited the back door and were confronted and detained by Loss Prevention Officers and Officer Madsen. Additional officers located and detained the vehicle and the two occupants. Officer Dubowy arrested a 23 year old male for petty theft.

#06 Officers were dispatched to the Fremont Hub regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.  A security guard called 911 after being struck with a stick by a known transient male.  Officer La Strape was first on scene and located the suspect who fled on foot.  A perimeter was established and Officer Kennedy used his K9 for a track however the suspect was not located. Investigation is ongoing at this time.

#007 – Officer Liu responded to a reported of an impaired male wandering in the parking lot while yelling at people with slurred speech, and stumbling about.  Ofc. Liu contacted a 27 year old male who was ultimately arrested for Health and Safety Code related violations and transported to the Santa Rita Jail facility for booking.

#010 – Auto Burglary – A restaurant employee called to report a male breaking into his vehicle outside the business in the parking lot on the 2000 block of Warm Springs Court. The suspect fled on foot as Officers arrived on scene.

#012 – Drunk Driving – 4000 block of Sora Common – A male in a Prius drove through a community member’s front yard striking and dragging the landscape access box down the street where he eventually stopped. A 54 year old male was contacted, arrested, and transported to the Fremont Police Jail facility for booking by Ofc. Cardona & FTO Hartman.

#032 Grand Theft – Officers were dispatched to Starbucks on Mowry after a suspect entered the store and grabbed a customer’s Mac Book and ran out of the store. The suspect was described as a while male, 20s, thin build, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He fled the scene in a brown Toyota Camry. Case investigated by Officer Blanchet.

#008 – Warrant Arrest - Ofc. L. Tran and FTO Haugh were conducting a security check at the Centerville Train Depot and contacted a 51 year old male, with a $5,000.00 Misdemeanor Warrant for Violation of a Court Order.  The male was placed under arrest and transported to the FPD Jail Facility for booking. 

#010 – Officers responded to reports of a homeless male swinging a machete while walking through the parking lot in the 5100 block of Mowry Ave.  Ofc's contacted 33 year old male parolee nearby, with the machete now concealed on his person.  The parolee was placed under arrest.  A search incident to arrest revealed additional charges of possession of a dangerous drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The parolee had a Felony Parole Violation Warrant active in the system for absconding.  He was also on court probation for Brandishing a Weapon, and Burglary.  Ofc. Hancock and FTO J. Kennedy transported the subject to the Santa Rita Jail facility for booking. 

#022: Health & Safety Code Arrest: Officers are dispatched to the area of Fremont/Mowry on the report of a woman in the middle of the roadway.  Officer Blanchet contacted a 40 year old female and arrested her for drug paraphernalia.
 
Monday June 10, 2019

#004- Officers respond to an address on Eggers regarding a disturbance. Officer Gerber arrested a male subject for being under the influence of drugs. Approximately 6 hours later while at FPD jail, the subject became uncooperative. FPD Officers responded for a cell extraction and to place the subject in a wrap. The subject was transported to Santa Rita Jail. Incident supervised by Sgt Aranguren.

#015- Warrant arrest for Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Escapee- Detective Edwards spotted wanted escapee near 6000 Stevenson. Detective Edwards coordinated a response for Detectives and Patrol to take the escapee into custody without incident. Incident supervised by Sgt Lambert.

#019: Drunk in Public Arrest: Officer Gigliotti was dispatched to the Taco Bell at the HUB on the report of a passed out male with his pants pulled down and a bag covering his genitals.  Officer Gigliotti contacted and arrested a 53 year old male for PC 647f (drunk in public) and transported him to Santa Rita Jail.

#020: Felony DUI crash/arrest: Officers were dispatched to the scene of a three vehicle collision on Norris Rd.  Witnesses reported that one of the involved drivers appeared to be intoxicated.  Officers arrived to the crash site and determined the driver a 54 year old male was indeed intoxicated and at fault for the collision injuring the two other drivers.  Traffic Officer Gregory responded to assist and ultimately arrested the driver and transported him to San Jose Regional for blood draw and then onto Fremont Jail. 

#002 - Officer Pena made a proactive pedestrian stop at the Hub and contacted a 31 year old male.  A records check showed he had two outstanding warrants.  He was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The subject was arrested and booked without incident.

#006- Stolen Vehicle - Brown 00 Chevy Tahoe stolen from Poplar Co.  Documented by Officer Alejo and FTO Richards.
 
#009 – Stolen Vehicle - White 09 Ford F350 stolen from Extended Stay America on Fremont Blvd. Documented by CSO Aguirre.

#018 – Auto Burglary - Officer Borzone and FTO Hanrahan took a window smash auto burglary in the parking lot of Walmart Osgood.  No suspect leads at this time.

#020 (Warrant Service)- Officer Gentry and Officer Ramsey were dispatched to Motel 6 north for an ascertain the problem.  Reporting party stated that there was a male in their room refusing to leave.  Upon arrival, a 35 year old male was contacted and found to have a misdemeanor battery warrant. The subject was ultimately arrested/cited for his warrant.  Investigation handled by Officer Gentry.

#001 - Officer Floresca was conducting proactive patrol checks at the Good Nite Inn when he located a vehicle which was flagged as stolen. The vehicle was parked and occupied by two subjects. Officer Floresca initiated verbal commands, detained them, and coordinated additional units to assist him. A 29 year old female was detained and subsequently arrested for VC10855, renting a vehicle and intentionally refusing to return it.

#003 - Officers responded to the 40600 block of Witherspoon Terrace to an initial report of a subject breaking into the clubhouse with a screwdriver. Sgt. Kwok coordinated for additional patrol resources and surrounded the clubhouse area. Announcements were made and a 46 year old male was contacted. The subject entered the clubhouse in order to bathe himself. He was subsequently cited with a trespassing notice.

#024 – Drug Violation - Multiple callers (several of whom were elementary school parents) reported a bizarrely dressed male subject acting strangely around Mattos Elementary.  Officers contacted a 40 year old male wearing a bath robe and arrested him for possession of a controlled substance.  Investigated by Ofc. Stone.  

#001 -  Officers Trzewieczynski and Degenstein were dispatched to Coaches Bar to a report of an intoxicated subject attempting to fight patrons. They arrived on scene and were confronted by a 41 year old male. The subject was instructed to have a seat. He initially complied, then opted to assume a posture of wanting to fight with officers. While being physically restrained, the subject continued reaching down his waistband. He was finally detained and handcuffed.
The subject was subsequently transported to be medically evaluated. While at the hospital, he was handcuffed to the gurney. The subject became agitated again, screaming that he was not about to return to jail. He attempted to jump off the gurney and began thrashing the kicking. Officers once again confronted the subject and they requested additional resources. A total of 6 officers were needed in order to physically restrain the subject and safely place him in a wrap device.  The subject is active to PRCS (post release community supervision) for violation of possession of controlled substances for sale (HS11378). The subject was subsequently transported to Santa Rita Jail where he was booked for public intoxication, felony resisting, assault on a peace officer and violation of his PRCS conditions.  Two officers required medical assessment but were able to return to full duty later in the night. Case investigated by Officer Trzewieczynski.

#004: Officer Huey, FTO Soper and Officer Davis responded to a report of a vehicle collision at Peralta Blvd/ Fremont Blvd.  A 26 year old male was contacted at the scene. The subject was driving westbound on Peralta Bvd, made a turn, and then struck a parked vehicle. The subject demonstrated signs of impairment and further investigation showed he was driving while under the influence. He was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence. Case investigated by Officer Davis and Officer Huey/FTO Soper.
