#012 Auto Burglary
At 8:02 a.m. officers responded to an auto burglary.  A male victim was at the Starbucks located at Mowry/Blacow, when a suspect driving in a black Nissan with black plates (yellow writing) broke the window of his car.  The victim’s two kids (under age 10) were inside the car at the time.  No suspect description. 

#042 Robbery
Officers were dispatched to the CVS store in Brookvale after a female suspect stole make-up and fled the store while threatening to kill employees if they tried to stop her.  The suspect was described as a black female, 20-30 years old, wearing a green jacket, black pants and white shoes.  She was carrying a black purse and white shopping bag.  She was seen fleeing the parking lot in a newer model silver sedan driven by a man.  Case investigated by Officer Crow.

#001 DUI Arrest
Officer Gerber responded to a single-vehicle collision in the area of Decoto Rd. and Cabrillo Dr. A vehicle collided with a light pole, knocking it over and exposing wires. The driver, a 49 year old man, was arrested for DUI.

#003 Theft Arrests
Officer Dennis was dispatched to Calle Esperanza for two suspicious people trying to steal a large community mailbox. The suspects were interrupted by a resident and fled in a vehicle. Officer Carter located the suspect vehicle near Mission Blvd and Anza. The vehicle quickly pulled into a gas station and the suspects exited as if to foot bail. Additional units respond to the stop and detained both suspects without incident. One suspect is identified by the witness and the other had parts of the mailbox hidden in his jacket. A 28 year old man and a 34 year old man were arrested for attempted grand theft and other identity theft-related charges.

#010 Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest 
Officer Contrada arrested a 48 year old man after he tried to drive his vehicle into a man who was in the parking lot.  The man had been acting erratically and thought someone was following him.  The victim was upset with the suspect and kicked out his driver’s window prior to police arrival. 

#032 Obstructing/Resisting Arrest
Officer Crow was dispatched to the area of Fremont Blvd and Country on the report of a woman walking in the middle of Fremont Blvd.  Officer Crow located and contacted a 32 year old female who was non-compliant and had to be assisted out of the roadway.  Officer Crow arrested the female for obstructing/resisting and transported her to Santa Rita.

#001 DUI Arrest
Officer Latimer responded to Royal Palm Drive for a disturbance over a traffic collision. A 26 year old was drunk driving, collided with a parked car, and then started a fight with the parked car owner. The man went to jail for DUI.

#014 Assault Deadly Weapon (not gun)
Officer J. Kennedy was dispatched to a residence on Rowe after a victim reported being struck by a bat. The male suspect fled the scene and was not located. Injuries were non-life threatening. Investigation ongoing.

#022 Stabbing and Brandishing and Imitation Firearm
 Multiple reporting parties called FPD Dispatch regarding a group fighting near the old Ross store located at Mission and Warm Springs.  Initial reports were that 6-7 subjects armed with sticks, a hammer, and a firearm were fighting.  Officers detain five involved subjects at gunpoint.  One of the subjects suffered a stab wound to his abdomen and had other blunt force injuries.  The suspect vehicle was described as a late 90’s white Mercedes E320 that was last seen N/B on Warm Springs Blvd.   Initial statements indicate the two suspects in the Mercedes attacked the victim and stabbed him.  As the victim’s friends arrive, the two suspects fled in the Mercedes.  One suspect brandished a large revolver at the victims as they fled.  The victim was transported to a trauma center and underwent immediate surgery.  His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
K9 Karo, with the assistance of Officer Haugh, spot the suspect vehicle fleeing N/B on Osgood near Walmart.  A felony car stop is initiated and the two suspects are detained.  A bloody knife and realistic imitation firearm are recovered.  After several infield identifications, the suspects a 31 year old and a 23 year old were arrested.  Case was investigated by Officer Montojo.  

#001/002 Auto Burglaries
Two vehicles were broken into at an apartment complex on Bryant Common. Suspect vehicle is a silver vehicle. Investigated by Officer Carter.

#003 Stolen Vehicle Recovery
A reporting party called dispatch stating that her vehicle had been stolen and it was now parking on Greenhills Way, according to her car’s tracking system. Officer Stiers located the vehicle, which was unoccupied. Investigation revealed that the car was involved in a pursuit with SJPD earlier in the night and is likely responsible for the above two auto burglaries. The suspect(s) also stole a garage door opener from an unlocked car and used it to commit a garage burglary at a residence on Greenhills Way. Its believed the car was used to case and commit several more burglaries in Fremont. Investigated by Officer Stiers.

#004 DUI Arrest
Officer LaStrape responded to a collision at a Montessori school located near Mission/Stevenson. The 30 year old driver was intoxicated and drove his SUV through several fences and tables in the playground area of the school. The vehicle narrowly missed an electrical junction box and gas main, and came to rest more than 200 feet into the school property. The man was arrested for DUI. His vehicle took several hours to tow away from the scene.

#014 Brandishing a firearm
A caller reported a driver brandished a firearm during a disagreement in the area of Fremont Blvd. and Central Ave.  The suspect was described as an older white male with facial hair and wearing a black t-shirt.  The suspect drove a light blue Chevrolet El Camino, and it was last seen driving S/B Fremont Bl.

#018 DUI/Warrant Arrest
A reporting party called in a dark colored vehicle that was driving erratically in the area of Auto Mall Pkwy and Osgood rd.  While the reporting party was watching, the driver suddenly stopped in the middle of the roadway.  The driver was contacted by responding officers and arrested for DUI and outstanding warrants.

#026 Commercial Burglary
At 12:54 p.m., a call came in of a report of a suspicious circumstance at a business on Seabridge Dr.  The reporting person advised he arrived at the business and found a broken window and a hole cut into the wall.  The reporting person was standing by for the police to clear the business, but due to priority calls and staffing, officers were not dispatched to the call until 4:04 p.m.  Through his investigation, Officer Hernandez found the business had been burglarized and an estimated $1,000,000 worth of computer components were stolen.  It is believed that a stolen cargo van from a nearby business was used to transport the stolen merchandise.   

#036 Suspicious Circumstances
At 9:18 p.m., officers responded to an address on Sully St. for a report of an unknown man attempting to gain entry into the home through a side door.  The home owner was able to see the man live on camera as he was looking in the kitchen window and attempting to open the side door.  As officers responded, the reporting person yelled at the suspect through the video speakers and he ran toward the fence shared with the rear neighbor.  A search was conducted utilizing the drone and the K9, but the suspect was not located.  Officer Gallagher is following up on the case. 

#003 DUI Arrest
Officer Farmer and FTO Lobue were patrolling the area of Central Avenue/ Dusterberry Way when they observed a vehicle run a stop sign. A traffic enforcement was initiated and the 29 year old driver was contacted. During the course of his investigation, it was determined the man was too intoxicated to drive. He was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence.

#004 Possession of Stolen Property Arrest
Officer Calvin initiated a pedestrian stop on a bicyclist at Stevenson Blvd/ Sundale Drive. The 33 year old man had an active, no bail warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle. Officer Calvin conducted a check of the bicycle’s serial number and learned it was a reported stolen on April 25th. The man was subsequently arrested for the warrant, possession of stolen property, burglary tools and possession of controlled substances. Case investigated by Officer Calvin.

#006 Possession of a Controlled Substance (narcotics) and Public Intoxication
Officers Borzone, Richards and Howell responded to the Shell Gas Station located on Grimmer Blvd regarding a male passed out inside his vehicle.  They contacted a 25 year old man in the parking lot and determined he was under the influence of alcohol.  While searching his person incident to arrest, officers located suspected cocaine in his pants pocket.  The man was booked into Santa Rita Jail without incident.

#002 Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Farmer and FTO Lobue were patrolling the area of Hastings Street/ Capitol Avenue. They initiated contact with a 30 year old man riding a bike. A record’s check revealed the man was on searchable probation. He was searched and subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

#007 Suspicious Death Investigation
At 8:05 a.m. officers responded to the 37300 block of Niles Blvd to investigate a battery that occurred the night before.  On Sunday evening, the night prior, Fremont Fire responded to the patio area of a coffee shop on Niles Blvd., where they provided medical treatment to an unresponsive male.  The man was transported to a trauma center.  At the time of the call, it was only reported as medical in nature and there was no further information regarding the man’s injuries.  The following morning, the department was notified that the man’s condition was grave and he was suffering from major injuries.  Additional information was learned that the man may have been inolved in a fight.  Since that time, officers and detectives have been working the case trying to determine what occurred. As of Wednesday, the man remained hospital, but had been declared deceased by doctors. This remains a very active investigation.

#006 Auto Burglary
An auto burglary occurred in the 100 block of W. Pickering.  Unknown suspect(s) broke into a parked vehicle, and the loss was personal and electronic items.

#014 Residential Burglary
A residential burglary occurred in the 4400 block of Hype Common.  Unknown suspect(s) entered a house and stole electronic items and tools.  Officers are following up on this case.

#026/#027 Thefts
At 6:09 p.m., three suspects ran into the Starbucks (Irvington – 41000 block of Fremont Blvd.) and T-Mobile store to steal laptops and cellphones.  A witness provided the suspect’s vehicle description of a green late 90’s Toyota Corolla. 

#034 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest
Officer Degenstein was conducting patrol checks at the Hub Shopping Center and initiated contact with two subjects, including a 31 year old man. A record’s check revealed he was on searchable probation out of Kern County. The man was subsequently arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

#036 Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
Patrol officers received a “be on the lookout” alert that a stolen vehicle was possibly leaving the area of Thornton Avenue/ Dondero Way. Officers hypothesized that the vehicle would possibly enter southbound I880. Within minutes, they observed the stolen vehicle in the area of southbound I880/ Fremont Boulevard south. Multiple units converged into the area and a felony car stop was initiated at the Chevron located on Cushing Parkway. The 26 year old driver was directed out and detained and he was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

#001 DUI Arrest
Officer Degenstein observed a vehicle run a red light in the area of Fremont Boulevard Sundale Drive. A traffic enforcement stop was initiated. A 35 year old adult male was detained. During the course of an investigation, it was determined the driver displayed signs of being too intoxicated to drive. He was subsequently arrested for driving while under the influence (greater than 0.08) and possession of controlled substances.

#005 Auto Burglary
Officers investigated an auto burglary in the 100 block of Mission Rd.  Unknown suspect(s) smashed the window on a parked vehicle, possible video surveillance.

#007 Auto Burglary
Officers investigated an auto burglary in the 800 block of Uinta Ct.  The burglary occurred during the early morning hours, and the victim may have information on a suspicious person in the area prior to the burglary.

#008 Grand Theft
Officers investigated a grand theft in the 39300 block of Civic Center Dr.  An unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked parked vehicle and stole electronic items.

#033 Robbery
A juvenile victim was robbed of his cellphone near Centerville Jr. High School by 4 males approximately 17-18 years old.   The suspect vehicle was possibly a white Honda Civic with a plate starting with “6J.”
