This incident update (#2) is to release the names of the involved Fremont Police officers and the name of the suspect.
Fremont Police Chief Kimberly Petersen will hold a press conference later this week where full details, including video, will be made available. The press conference will be filmed and posted to our online Transparency Portal.
Fremont Police Officers:
Officer Ryan Lobue, 11 years of service with the Fremont Police Department
Officer James Taylor, 10 years of service with the Fremont Police Department
K9 Officer Jennifer Allsup, 7 years of service with the Fremont Police Department
Suspect:
Michael Allen Felch, 30 year old, Fremont resident
