Water Shut Down Boil Water Advisory 
The City of Amsterdam announces that due to water utility work on Locust Avenue, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 there will be a water shutdown from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (Thursday, April 4, 2019) or until complete. RESIDENTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS WILL HAVE TO BOIL THEIR WATER ONCE THE WATER IS TURNED ON, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. BRING YOUR WATER TO A ROLLING BOIL AND BOIL FOR 1 MINUTE.
- Locust Avenue from Wallin Street to Park Street;
- Roosevelt Road;
- Garfield Place;
- Harding Road;
- Taft Place;
- Hayes Place;
- Harrison Place;
- McKinley Avenue;
- Belmont Place;
- Vanderveer Street;
- Milton Avenue;
- Grand Street;
- Fourth Avenue;
- First Avenue;
- Third Avenue;
